in the North Jersey area:

Carperson

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

A Carperson is responsible for inspecting and repairing railcars.

Repair includes welding, painting, metal cuttingl, and sandblasting.

These employees are also responsible for maintenance tasks such

as railroad car door replacement.

To qualify for consideration applicants must be able to work outdoors,

any shift, weekends and holidays. Individuals must pass qualifying test

and have a valid driver’s license.

Locomotive Electrician

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Daily inspection and repair of diesel locomotives.

Perform electrical inspection, maintenance, repair and testing activities

and electrical components in a shop environment or outdoors. Be familiar

with high voltage Working on bridges, ladders and other elevated places.

Must also be capable of working in pit, and confined spaces

To qualify for consideration applicants must be able to work outdoors, any shift,

weekends and holidays. Individuals must pass qualifying test and have a valid driver’s license.

A CDL is not required, but helpfull.
